Whether we are encouraged or disappointed by the results of yesterday's election, we should remember how lucky we are to live in a country where things like elections are possible. Here at Bay Area Installations, we are very proud of our country and grateful for the opportunity we have been given to work hard and make a living.
One of the interesting parts about being in the furniture industry is that you see first hand how innerconnected the economy is. Furniture is everywhere - whatever industry you're in, whatever type of work you do, there's a table, a chair, a desk that you work with. And of course, all of this business is made possible by the system of laws that we have put into place by free and mutual election. So when an election comes around it is important to remember how lucky we are. When you walk into the polling place, there will be tables and chair set up - furniture again! So you see, we are all connected in our economy, in our society, and should take our elections very seriously and be grateful that we have such a system!
