There is no end of things to be thankful for. Here at Bay Area Installations, we try to remember this during all seasons. But like the rest of our country we greatly enjoy the celebration that the season of Thanksgiving brings.
A lot of life comes down to a matter of perspective. As the saying goes "is the glass half full, or half empty" - at BAI we go one step further: we are grateful for water itself, for a cup to hold it in, for the skill of human inguenity to have made the cup...and of course, being in the furniture industry, for the table it's sitting on.
So it is with all things. We find that contentment and happiness come in large measure when one can truly be grateful for all that they have, for each moment, and to strive to always do their best. Maybe that's why we have such a good reputation with our customers - that type of attitude isn't just something to talk about, it becomes a culture. It is infused into all that we do, and thereby transmits to those we interact with, as though by good infection.
In honor of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, we make rememberance in a few short lines of all that we're thankful for: trucks and warehouses, pallets and forklifts, cardboard and masking tape. For customers, for clients, for vendors. For roads to drive on, for buildings to park at. For loading docks, elevators and stairs. For breathtaking views out of a 28th story window that truly amaze us as we haven't gotten used to staring out them day after day. For the ache of sore muscles after an extra-long shift. For uninterrupted sleep in a hotel when we're on the road. For interrupted sleep when we finally return home. For packing blankets, drills, shrinkwrap, pedestals, screws and topcaps. For desks, tables, files, bookcases, and chairs chairs chairs. For another day to do our work and do our best.
Happy Thanksgiving to all, from Bay Area Installations Inc.
