We all have to work in this world - it helps when we remember a touch of the personal. At Bay Area Installations, we sometimes go beyond the scope of the job in one important way: everyone has a good time and feels a sense of loyalty and belonging.
This includes customers and sales reps as well! Just yesterday one of our executive staff went to a jobsite to check on an installation in progress. There had been some friction between the sale rep and the end user over timing issues, and we were doing our best to be good intermediaries. At a certain point, it had looked like the install was going to go into overtime, because some of the product had been back ordered. However, we had been tracking the order and dispatched an extra truck immediately upon receiving. The back ordered product was delivered on time and the install was going to come in promptly.
What's more, our executive staff member bought lunch for the crew, and a little extra for the sales rep and end user, who were both on site as well. Everyone sat down and ate together, talked, and laughed. The result was a truly American picture of people coming together, each offering their specialty and doing their personal best - the result being a job well done and a good time had by all.
